New Rotary Year - New Rotary President
Today - 1st July - sees the start of a new Rotary year. It's also the day our new Club President - Malcolm Bury - takes the reins from Lana Coates, who is very happy to hand over after 2 years in the hot seat. Malcolm's Induction Dinner took place at Coffee Corner on the 14th June - a very enjoyable evening.
Stephen Stocks - our Assistant Governor - surprised me with a Paul Harris Award and I feel both honoured and humbled to be recognised in this way.
The Rotary International Theme for 2017/2018 is Rotary Making a Difference - very apt considering Rotary all over the world makes a tremendous difference in the lives of so many. We all wish Malcolm a very good year ahead.
