When you live in a shack - often without windows or natural light - where there is no electricity, tasks such as homework, reading or studying become virtually impossible, putting learners at a distinct disadvantage. Hoopland School Donation
StartFragment Rotary Club of Stanford donated and installed four computers as well as a printer at Hoopland School. The school is well established now and the computers will be used primarily by the Grades 3 and 4 children. There was great interest from the children while the computers were being unpacked and installed, and they could barely contain themselves when they were allowed a close-up look.


Rotary Club of Derwentside UK - Working Together
The Rotary Club of Stanford delivered a Risograph duplicating machine to Masakhane Primary School in Gansbaai. The funds for this were raised by the Rotary Club of Derwentside (UK). The Risograph enables low cost production of bulk printing jobs that a busy school needs. Dave Morcombe
It was with great sadness that we heard of Dave's death on Thursday 10th November as we had all met at our regular Wednesday evening meeting the day before. Dave was the newest member of Rotary Standford, but Dave being Dave, he jumped in with both feet and brought new ideas and suggestions to our small club.
